What to Bring on A Cruise

Before setting off, take a little time to scan this simple list

Taking to the waves? Take just a moment to take stock of what you’ll bring. To make the prep process easier, we’ve put together some simple reminders to help ensure you’re prepared for (and comfortable during) your journey — so you can focus on what’s important: having the time of your life.

Documents

This is the shortest, yet most important, part of the list — because without this stuff, you’re not going anywhere.
— Your passport
— Printouts of your booking references, itinerary, and airline tickets (don’t place these in checked luggage; instead, put them in carry-ons and, when possible, directly on you)

Tech & Gadgets

Your vacation should be a chance for you to unplug and recharge your batteries. But you’ll still want to stay connected and occasionally check in — which requires tools to help you, well, recharge your actual batteries.
— Chargers for your electronics (bring backups too!)
— Universal international adaptors
— Download the Seabourn Source onboard app — you can use it to access daily programs (Herald), book shore excursions, view dining menus, access your Internet package, and more

Essentials

Anything that’s indispensable to life on land should be with you at sea, so you can truly feel at ease.
— Sun protection/sunglasses
— Prescription medications (keep them in your carry-on)
— Camera, battery, charger, memory card (keep them in your carry-on)
— Mini sewing kit (keep in checked bag)
— Laundry bag and zip-lock bags
— First aid kit with aspirin
— Vitamins
— Toiletries and hygiene items
— Foldable tote bag for tours/shopping
*** Note: a number of essentials, from daily/essential toiletries or first-aid kits, are readily available in-suite or upon request (depending on item) on Seabourn cruises. Still, many guests enjoy bringing their own, to help make their suite feel even more like home.

Essential/Casual Clothing

Standing in your closet trying to prioritize what to pack can be confusing. This list has everything you need to be both casual, comfortable — and effortlessly stylish, to boot.
— Casual shoes, comfortable walking shoes, and sandals with comfortable, flexible soles
— Swimwear and cover-ups
— Sleepwear, undergarments, and socks
— Brimmed hat or cap
— Exercise attire and sneakers
— Accessories (including handbags and belts)
— Dress shoes

Other Clothing

Memorable moments call for photo-worthy looks. Here’s what you need to dress your best.
Women:
— Blouses, tops, and shirts
— Jacket
— Sweater or wrap
— Informal cocktail attire
— Evening or cocktail dress
— Evening bag or clutch
Men:
— Sweaters
— Shirts, including collared polo and dress shirts
— Casual and dressier pants
— Shorts
— Sports jacket
— Dark suit or tuxedo
