Seabourn Quest Enters a New Chapter

Explore the most extensive interior transformation in Seabourn history

Share:

When Seabourn Quest debuted in 2011, her design redefined modern luxury at sea. Following the most extensive interior transformation in the brand’s history, she now begins a new chapter—elevating the guest experience across Seabourn Quest’s Caribbean voyages, 2027 World Cruise, and so much more.

Inspired by the natural beauty of land and sea, these updates extend beyond aesthetics, enhancing how the ship feels, flows, and supports every journey.

Refreshing Seabourn Quest’s Public Spaces

  • The Club has been transformed with a sophisticated, speakeasy-inspired ambiance, creating an intimate setting for evening cocktails, conversation, live music and a quiet respite during the day.

  • Seabourn Square now features a warmer, living room atmosphere including entirely new furniture, plus limited bistro-style seating.

  • Observation Bar evolved into a warmer, more modern space with new lighting and updated décor elements.

  • The Spa has been refreshed with a serene, contemporary, organic design that deepens the sense of true relaxation our guests expect, plus a complete replacement of all gym equipment.

  • New carpeting inspired by the organic movement of water has been introduced, across many public spaces, the corridors and central atrium, bringing greater cohesion and refinement to the onboard experience.

  • The main pool deck debuts with an all new sound system and lighting, surrounded by renewed teak deck.

New Guest Suite Enhancements

Our newly upgraded suites, featuring recently enhanced designer furnishings and custom drapery, were further refreshed during dry dock with new mattresses as well as the installation of plush new wool carpeting — creating an even more elegant and inviting retreat for our guests.

Designed to Inspire. Renewed to Respect

Alongside elevated design updates, meaningful steps were taken to reduce waste and extend the life of materials onboard.

  • Circular by design: More than 20,000 square meters (approx. 215,000 square feet) of carpet were replaced, all original carpet was diverted from landfill and is planned to be repurposed into new carpet padding that the shipyard will reintegrate onboard for a future Seabourn renovation. Updated suites now feature biodegradable Cradle to Cradle Dansk Wilton wool carpet to further support a closed-loop lifecycle approach.

  • Responsible refurbishment: All mattresses were deconstructed for recycling by the shipyard, while select lounge furnishings were donated to local Italian non-profits thus, extending the life of these materials, redirecting them from landfill disposal, and benefitting surrounding communities.

This transformation marks a meaningful step forward—enhancing the experience across Seabourn Quest’s Caribbean voyages and her World Cruise itineraries, where each day brings new destinations, and every return onboard feels entirely renewed.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard to experience Seabourn Quest at her very best.
